Upgraded from the Kenwood Prospero which served us well for a good couple of years - and definetly served it’s purpose during lockdown.
The quality is all that is expected from the Kenwood range and looking forward to put it through it’s paces. So far used it for cakes, buttercream amd ermine frosting. However can not wait to see how it handles bread dough.
My first Kenwood Chef. This easy to use mixer is phenomenal. The splashguard is so ideal so that I don’t make a mess, especially when I am going to work. I love the speed control for all my baking. I love this mixer and Kenwood has proven to stand the test of time.

I bake weekly and have 2 Kenwood Mixers. A beautiful canary yellow KMix and then also bought the XL for when im making large cakes and big quantities of shortbread.
Both are absolutely Brilliant! Work like a dream. In fact i often run both simultaneously 🤣
… the only issue i have is that i need a larger kitchen to display them 🤣❤️🙏
I bought a Kenwood Chef with attachments in 1978. It was then the only model available on the market. I have used this machine since 1978 daily without any problems until 2022 when the motor stopped working after 45 years of hard work. I recently bought a new Kenwood Chef XL and was so impressed that after 45 years I could still use my old Kenwood Chef's working attachments on this new model...that says everything of the product and quality....a product and company to be trusted
